Of course it's a great tragedy but does it take away from the crimes comitted by the American soldiers in Abu-Gharib and what do you think the implications of it are.

Its sad to see something like this happen. I'm no fan of U.S. hostility and agression against the world, the list of wrongdoings by the U.S. is also endless, but this is shameless. I found the stunts by U.S. soldiers to be just as disturbing, but at least we can presume that those soldiers will be dealt with accordingly by their own governments, these radicals will just find another hole to hide in,

BUT
it was happening and they weren't recording it before.
He was not a soldier, not a political figure, nothing.
I didn't see the tape but I heard he was beheaded slowly. Such inhumane acts. Dispicable.

Wanna know what I think? I don't think ANYONE'S gonna do ANYTHING about what those american soldiers did!! As usual, they're gonna talk about it for a while to show the public that "yeah, we're really concerned, we care, look we're even talking about it" but that's as far as it'll go.
In a few days it's gonna be OLD NEWS & put to rest.
This isn't the first act of WILDNESS on the part of americans, is it??
What has anyone ever done about everything they've been respnsable for up to now?? N O T H I N G !
Why? Because it's the United Staes Of America!
*Albateh nagofteh namanad, I'm SO against what those animals did to that american guy!!

Also, I believe it also forbids the killing of people who have surrendered - who pose no hostility/threat.
I don't think we should even label these people as muslims because they definately are not muslims. If they were, they'd know what they've done is wrong. Suicide bombings are also forbidden because SUICIDE is forbidden.
These people just use religion as an excuse. They hide behind religion like cowards.

They were muslims, now lets not fool ourselves, they were fundamental muslims who believe in nothing but Islam & muslims' superiority over other religions, they were a bunch of ruthless thugs full of attrocity and hatred. and that's what they are.
I am a so called muslim as well, but I never fond of any religion or religious beliefs.

The Quran doesn't forbid it, the laws of humanity forbid it. (Geneva)

Not if its done in the way of Islam and for the good of Islam. In fact, in Western societies to committ suicide it means that you do not value your life, in Islam however if you committ suicide as a martyr it actually means that you VALUED your life to the point that you were willing to give it up for Islam.

2) Suicide is forbidden regardless. Martyr, no martyr, doesn't matter. My point stays as it was.
Keano: They call themselves muslims but they twist and turn everything to make it sound like they're doing the right thing. They butcher it to make it sound as though it's ok for them to hurt and kill people. That doesn't make them muslim. Don't mistake that.

American are occupants in Iraq.
So they deserve, what occupants deserve.
If some people belive, that civilist from occupant country can go freely to occupied country and make bussines there, they should check history of occupations.
I specialy recommand you central, eastern europe history, you will find much more nasty things that cutting heads.
Fantacis claim to do things in name of god... well... every fanatic is a bit of so take their words seriously is not quite good idea, untill it doesnt fit to your politics.

and suicide IS a sin honey...martyrdom is actually quite different...it means dying for a cause...not taking ur life because u can't take 'it' anymore...God did not want us to waste the opportunities of life because we cannot overcome obstacles...but it is a different thing if u use your life to achieve something so great...don't u think? I know interpretations differ, and of course this is only mine...religion is way too personal to have a general interpretation...so I value ur opinion Keano jooni...
take care and God bless,

and it is against the true essence of Islam
but i think that the american leaders are glad now cuz It will surely drift the attention of public opinion from the torture and abuse of Iraqi prisoners
eventhough the americans are occupying iraq
eventhough they are killers
eventhough they are liars
eventhough they are despotic
eventhough they are tendentious
but despite of all that , our religion do not accept these barberian acts from these terrorist !!
private to fefe
Well said fefe joon, your words are gold
Im glad to know that you are muslim
